Welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Las Vegas is the largest city in Nevada, United States, and a major tourist, shopping, vacation and gambling destination. Las Vegas is the Gambling Capital of the World. What more can be said about the real city that never sleeps, that treats millions of visitors a year, and can cook a good steak at a good price? Only in Vegas, baby! The city has about 480,000 people and the metropolitan area of about 1.5 million people is growing about as steady as the ever-changing skyline. Las Vegas is located in the southern corner of Nevada and is centered between a winter ski mountain resort and a large lake used mostly for boating, jet skiing and camping. The vast open deserts surrounding the Las Vegas area bring high thrills to any off road lover. Too many casinos to name, too many places to see, too much fun. Las Vegas is a treat for all.

If you have taken a better photo of Las Vegas. Please email us a copy and if we like it, we might use it. Nowhere else can you find a city that has all the amenities that only a complete resort destination can offer: luxurious hotels, fine dining, wonderful live entertainment and state-of-the art convention facilities. Las Vegas is a spectacular city, incomparable to any other. Everything that you would expect from a world-class metropolis, and more, is right here for your pleasure. Las Vegas is a city that has something for everyone. While you are here, make sure to see all the great attractions the city of Las Vegas has to offer. Recognized all over the world, our famous Strip is where tourists can enjoy a walk in the warm desert evening, or take a stroll downtown and view a dazzling light show that spans an entire street - the Fremont Street Experience. You can also get a glimpse of amazing world famous re-creations like erupting volcanoes, the Eiffel Tower and the Sphinx of Egypt.
Las Vegas offers top quality entertainment, attractions, shopping and world-renowned resorts. Las Vegas nightlife will keep you up until dawn and art displays, music and museums take you on a journey from the classic to the contemporary. Downtown Las Vegas offers an energetic display of color with a bit of nostalgia and a glimpse of the future. If you are looking to enjoy the Wild West and our great outdoor recreation, beyond the glamour and glitter of our neon lights, we have plenty to see. There are enchanting panoramas in the Red Rock National Conservation area, Lake Mead National Recreation area and at Mount Charleston. All are only minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.
Although Las Vegas is the largest gaming city in the world, tourism is centered around the casinos (in the center of town ) leaving the surrounding residential neighborhoods virtually untouched by its presence. Have a great time in our wonderful city!

Introduce Yourself to Fine Dining at Joel Robuchon in Las Vegas

Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand
Do you ever get that distinct feeling that you eat too much? Do you leave restaurants with such a vague feeling of un-fulfillment that you wonder if it's possible to just stop eating? Period? What you need is a gastronomic awakening. You need a game changer in your culinary experiences. Simply put, you need a dose of Joel Robuchon in Las Vegas.

Two restaurants at the MGM Grand from the most Michelin starred chef in the world should help you ease your tension when it comes to mediocre food and marginal experiences in restaurants. First, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon is a casual approach to fine dining where you can opt to sit at a bar in full view of the kitchen and marvel at the preparation of dishes that you are sure are marinated in perfection. It might be the lobster in a Thai style broth with lemongrass that makes you pack your bags and head to the far east or the foie gras with black truffles, served with turnips that make you so delirious you start hitting 20 at the blackjack tables.

You could try Joel Robuchon, the more quaint and luxurious restaurant at the MGM Grand that highlights the style and talents of the Chef. Every detail is taken care of, from the servers shaving organic butter that has been sprinkled with sea salt for any of over 20 bread selections to the handmade chocolate treats that will greet you after a taste bud altering meal. Your view of food will be changed forever.

"...atmosphere, the most important part of the meal, the way people interact, the employees, the music, it's not about whether the fork is here or there, it's about hospitality and people coming together, I want people to feel my DNA." Chef Joel Robuchon smiles as he tells me that and I feel like I know exactly what he is talking about.
